About Ms. Vega

Hello! I'm Alyssa Vega, a second-grade teacher who is passionate about creating engaging learning experiences that help students build confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning.

I believe it's important for young learners to become comfortable using technology from an early age. When introduced in meaningful, age-appropriate ways, digital tools can strengthen creativity, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving while preparing students for the technology-rich world they will continue to learn and work in.

I created Tech Time with Ms. Vega to provide elementary teachers with practical, classroom-ready technology lessons and resources that make integrating digital tools simple, engaging, and accessible. My goal is to empower educators with ideas they can implement immediately while helping students develop the digital skills they will use throughout their education.

In addition to teaching, I am a graduate student at Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi, where I am pursuing a Master of Science in Instructional Design and Educational Technology. Through my graduate studies, I continue exploring innovative ways to design effective learning experiences that support both teachers and students.
